There are times in life where we need protection and looking after, sometimes we don’t realise what protects us.
An umbrella covers us and keeps us dry. It protects us. When we think about being looked after or covered or protected, we might think about parents looking after their children, or about protecting endangered animals, or about laws that keep people safe.
This activity encourages pupils to think about times when they’ve felt vulnerable and have been looked after or protected by others.
