Article 14 of the Human Rights Act requires that no one be discriminated against due to colour, race, sex, language, religion, national origin and many other grounds. Sadly, there are many people who still suffer from racial discrimination and persecution across the world.
Pupils are invited to read the story of George Floyd, who was a victim of racially motivated police brutality in Minnesota, USA. Pupils are encouraged to consider others who may have experience racial discrimination across the world and maybe even in their towns.
