“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” So the saying goes. It’s not true though. Words have great power to help or hurt, to bless or curse.
This activity encourages pupils to reflect on the names they’ve been called, and the negative words spoken to them, and to wipe these away in favour of some better names and words.
